DFF is delighted to announce that the NSW Premiere of Frazer Bailey’s Glenn Owen Dodds is screening at this year’s fest. Starring one of Australia’s most sought after actors, David Wenham and rising Aussie talent Abe Forsythe, this comedy sees an ordinary man discovering the meaning of life when he happens upon the chance of a five minute sit down with God.
Director Frazer Bailey completed his first short film in 2001 and has not looked back since, starting his own Production Company, Play TV, in 2005 with producer Bec Dakin. Glenn Owen Dodds is Frazer’s fourth short film, and stars established Aussie talent, David Wenham and rising star Abe Forsythe.
David Wenham is one of Australia’s most talented and best loved actors. With more than 30 feature films to his name, David has featured in Australian and International films, including Aussie successes The Boys and Russian Doll and big blockbuster action movies like Lord of the Rings and Australia.
Abe Forsythe is not only an accomplished actor but also a sought after writer and award winning director. Abe’s short film Shock, which he wrote and directed won the top prize at this year’s Tropfest and will be playing at Dungog in May.

Michael Radcliffe was catching the bus this morning, as he does every day of his everyday life. He didn't expect to have a five-minute sit-down with GOD, well Glenn Owen Dodds that is, a mysterious man who claims to be GOD. Could he really be GOD? He seems to know an awful lot about Michael Radcliffe… but what kind of GOD looks so hapless and has such a frightful filing system? But, then again, how does Glenn Owen Dodds know the meaning of life?
